In three separate transactions, Edna Chirico of Chirico Huber Properties sold a total of 5.459 acres on
Brookshire Blvd. to Tom Waters of Provident Development.

Swisher International renewed their lease of 12,836 square feet at 6853 Fairview Rd. in Charlotte.  Rob Cochran and Mike Kemmet of Colliers Pinkard represented the landlord, Old Dowd Properties.  Dan Millard and Randall Buzzard of Equis represented the tenant.

Commercial One Group/Regional Companies – John Shaheen
Ronco Plastics, Inc. (based out of Tustin, CA) and Commercial One announced today the commencement of a lease for a new Eastern Manufacturing and Distribution Facility.  Ronco will open its new 10,000 SF facility in April.  Ronco’s new facility is located at 1248 Camp Creek Parkway, Lancaster, SC. Tim Kreier, will manage Ronco Plastics’ new Eastern Manufacturing and Distribution Facility.  John Shaheen of Commercial One represented Ronco Plastics and James West represented the property owners Melton Brothers Real Estate, in the transaction.

Northfield Investments, Inc. (a Regional Company) today announced the commencement of a 5-year lease with Bahmueller Technologies, Inc. (BTI).  BTI opened a new 5200SF North American Headquarters facility in late March of 2003.  BTI’s North American Operations will be located in Westinghouse Downs Commerce Park, off of Downs Road, between Westinghouse Blvd and Hwy. 51 in Pineville. BTI is the second tenant in a 29,000 SF multi-tenant flex building.

First Colony Corporation is pleased to announce that Charlotte Medical Clinic has leased 10,906 SF, anchoring the first floor of Newman at Belle Grove, 3025 Springbank Lane.  The Newman Building is First Colony’s most recent addition to the
Belle Grove Office Park at the Arboretum and fronts Providence Road at Springbank Lane.  Tiffany Slayden, VP Sales & Leasing at First Colony Corporation represented the Landlord and Jubal Early of Lincoln Harris represented the tenant in this transaction.

Ellinger, Jr., DDS will be relocating his periodontal practice to a 2500 SF office on the first floor of Granville at Belle Grove, 3325 Springbank Lane.  Dr. Ellinger’s practice will open in fall of 2003.  Mark Quincy, of First Colony Corporation, Sales and Leasing, represented both the Landlord and Tenant in this transaction.

First LandMark USA, Inc. – Tim Hose
A First LandMark USA, Inc.-sponsored partnership closed the sale of a 1.2 acre site at Union West Business Park on April 15.  The purchaser, Kleen Pro, plans to construct a 10,000 square foot office/warehouse building on the property, which is located on Highway 74 one mile east of the I-485 interchange in western Union County.  Kleen Pro is a commercial/industrial sanitation contractor.  Tim Hose, president of First LandMark, handles sales, negotiations and closings for Union West Business Park.

Hickory operations to 6,929 square feet of office space at 1900 Tate Boulevard. Richard Baker of McGuire Properties represented GMJ Enterprises in their lease of a 2,000 square foot industrial space at Charlotte Corporate Center. This New Jersey based tool distribution company plans to run its
Charlotte division out of this location. Lynn Moore of Bell Moore Group represented the landlord, Exit 14 Associates.

Carson Martin of McGuire Properties leased a 3,200 square foot warehouse at 2837 Sparta Avenue to Martin’s Auto Service. Carson Martin represented the tenant and the landlord in this transaction. 

McGuire Properties, Inc/TCN – Walter Scholtz
Walter Scholtz leased a 3-bay 2,000 square foot warehouse space at 2817 Rosemont Street to American Cab Company. The space will serve as a maintenance repair shop for American’s fleet of vehicles.

Mike Kirby of SouthEast Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc. represented All Saint Lutheran Church in the recent sale of a 6,500 SF church located on 900 Seneca Place, Charlotte, NC for a purchase price of $415,000 to the First Church of Nazarene.

Trammell Crow just completed two deals at 8000 Woodfield Corporate Center.  Consultants in Data Processing did a 3,884 square foot, 5 year deal and AEC did a 1,537 square foot, 5 year deal.  Kimball Wood and Mark Decherd handled the lease negotiations.

Trammell Crow recently completed a deal for Montemayor at 77 Corporate Park.  The tenant will occupy 1760 square feet.  Huston Green represented the Landlord.
