Are you a primary member of CRCBR and missed your opportunity to take the NAR Code of Ethics quadrennial requirement? Stay in compliance by taking this class!

This class satisfies NAR's Code of Ethics quadrennial requirement for 2005-2008. Ethics articles, process and enforcement will be reviewed. Anyone who has completed the 2005-2008 requirements may take this course to satisfy the 2009-2012 one.

The Commercial Certificate Program (CCP) is designed to bring together a faculty of industry leaders and top producers to teach the fundamentals of commercial real estate. Eight courses are offered over four weeks, two courses per day, one full day per week, allowing students to concurrently tend to business while learning. A certificate of completion is awarded to students who attend seven or more classes.

Learn about Commission Rules governing agency agreements and contracts as well as contract basics for commercial transactions, including listing and rep agreements, protection agreements, and sales contracts. The RCA-NCAR commercial forms are reviewed so the agent will know which forms are available and how to use each.

Supply and demand are basic fundamentals in economics, but how do they work in commercial real estate? This course will cover the sources of demand specific to commercial real estate, approaches to surveying current and future supply and the impacts on commercial projects. In addition, we will review the various resources needed for analyzing commercial real estate projects including demographics, housing data, commercial real estate data and more.

2009 promises to be a very interesting year for everyone, especially in the real estate industry! This year, our theme is "Survive and Thrive" and we hope to continue to provide the best possible services to our members, while finding cost efficient benefits which will help you in 2009!

Forms
Tired of paying for additional forms software? As a member of the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®, you have the ability to download transaction forms, free of charge, from the Realfast software. The South Carolina Association of REALTORS® provides forms as well.

Networking
At the local level, we strive to assist you in networking with your peers within the industry. Our quarterly BrokerNet, is a free, members-only program where the sole purpose of the event is to network. We continue to provide other events throughout the year to gain information on the region as a whole, while networking at the same time.

Education
We also provide educational programs designed to make available a variety of resources to support you in your work.  Newer to the industry? The CoreConcepts Commercial Certificate Program is just for you! Eight Classes, Two classes a day, One day a week, these courses provide the foundation for Commercial Real Estate. If you simply need to renew your license, CRCBR also provides the Mandatory Update, the Broker in Charge, and a number of electives, all with a commercial spin for your convenience. We want to hear about your successes!
Put your commercial transactions into The Voice!

Below is the basic format of how your transactions will be listed.  Make sure to give us your name, company and all of the information pertaining to the transaction:

SAMPLE TRANSACTION:

Commercial RE Company - Jane Doe

XYZ Company leased 5000 sq. ft. of flex space at 123 Plaza Center.  Jane Doe of Commercial RE Company represented the tenant and John Smith of John Smith Real Estate represented the landlord.

You can email your transaction information to CRCBR at info@crcbr.org or you can fax it to 704-377-8983.  If you have any questions about submitting your transactions for the Voice, please call CRCBR at 704-377-8982.
