Annual Awards

Each December, CRCBR recognizes individuals who have furthered the industry, profession, or association over the past year or years through their contribution of time, energy, and resources. This year, CRCBR will present five awards, including a new award, the Legends Award. Awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting.  

Additional awards may be given at the President’s discretion. Email all suggestions to [email protected].

NOTE: All nominations may be submitted by individuals, firms, brokers/managers, but not by the nominee themselves.


2022 Awards

Legends Award
A Hall of Fame program that recognizes individuals who have made an extraordinary and integral contribution to CRCBR and the commercial real estate profession in the Charlotte region over a period of at least 25 years.

President’s Award
Presented by the President of CRCBR and awarded to an individual who has given countless volunteer hours of enthusiastic service and diligently served the organization. 

Member of the Year Award
Recognizing an outstanding Broker or REALTOR® member, judged on civic activity, business accomplishments, and participation in commercial real estate industry organizations. Formerly the REALTOR® of the Year award 

Industry Partner of the Year Award
Given to the Industry Partner member who has made the greatest contribution of time, energy, and resources to CRCBR. 

Cornerstone Award
Given to the non-member individual, institution or firm that has significantly improved the economy of the region and in particular, improved the business environment for the commercial real estate industry.

Deal Makers Awards Program

The CRCBR Deal Makers Awards Program recognizes brokers and developers in the commercial real estate industry who have accumulated sales transactions of over $2 million. Top brokers are recognized in the categories of office, industrial, retail, land sales, and investment. Top developers are recognized in the categories of office, retail, and industrial. Non-affiliated brokers are also recognized.
